First Place - Front Page Design

I was honored to be recognized for my front cover design for the Boulder Weekly by the Colorado Pro Chapter of the SPJ. Though it is a very small part of my job, front cover design is one of my favorite responsibilities at the Weekly. There is something magical about stripping down a story to its base concept and extracting that into an eye-catching image to pull readers in.
